💡 A Note on Sourcing Raw Dairy: We love helping you find local raw milk, but please note that Primalguide.org does not oversee or manage individual farm production, packaging, or cleanliness standards. We always encourage our community to be active consumers: ask vendors about their testing protocols, and choose the sources that best fit your family’s standards!

🐄 What’s Available

  • A2/A2 raw milk from grass-fed cows
  • Raw milk yogurt
  • Cow shares with on farm pickup

Sykes Family Farm is a family dairy in Mebane, between Burlington and the Triangle, offering A2/A2 raw milk and yogurt from grass-fed cows through cow shares.

In North Carolina, a herdshare is the legal way to get raw milk. You buy a share of the herd, pay a boarding fee to cover the animals’ care, and in return you receive milk from the animals you co-own. Pickup is right at the farm, which gives you a chance to see the cows and the pasture for yourself.

Our tip: If you live in Durham, Chapel Hill, or Burlington, Sykes is one of the closest raw milk options. Call ahead to set up your pickup time.
