Riverside Acres Dairy is a family farm in Norwood, in St. Lawrence County near Potsdam. Their Jersey and Red and White Holstein cows are rotationally grazed on clover and timothy pasture.
New York allows raw milk to be sold only on the farm where it’s produced, and only by farms holding a state raw milk permit. Permitted farms are inspected and have their milk sampled and tested by the state, and they post a sign letting customers know the milk is unpasteurized. The farm also raises full blood Wagyu beef, sold from their own retail store.
Our tip: Pair your milk pickup with some Wagyu. It’s a rare find this far north.
