The Farmer’s Daughter is the farm store for Grasshopper Hill Farm, which sits just a mile away in the Rangeley Lakes region. Toby, Doris, and Natalie bought the farm in 2020 and run it using regenerative practices, with no herbicides, pesticides, or synthetic fertilizers.
The shop carries humanely raised meat, eggs, and dairy from their own farm and a handful of vetted local partners, along with fresh produce, house made bagels on Fridays and Saturdays, and cinnamon rolls on Sundays. It’s a favorite stop for locals and for visitors heading up to the lakes.
Our tip: Ask what’s coming straight from Grasshopper Hill that week. Stock changes with the season, and the farm raised items go first.
