🐄 What’s Available
- A2 Jersey cow milk through a herd share
- Weekly milk in reusable glass jars
- Pasture raised with regenerative practices
Mary Lee Farms is a small, family operated dairy in Kenly, in Johnston County, raising Jersey cows on pasture using regenerative practices. Their herd produces A2 milk, which is naturally rich and creamy.
The farm offers a herd share program, where members own a portion of the herd and receive a weekly share of milk in reusable glass jars. In North Carolina, a herdshare is the legal way to get raw milk. You buy a share of the herd, pay a boarding fee to cover the animals’ care, and in return you receive milk from the animals you co-own.
Our tip: Visits are by appointment only, and restocks are usually announced on the farm’s social media. Follow them there so you don’t miss a pickup.
