The Robie Farm has been in the same family for more than seven generations, farming 150 acres along the Connecticut River since 1870. For most of that time it was a traditional dairy selling to a cooperative, but in 2008 the family started selling directly to the public.
Today the farm store is a destination for raw milk, cheeses made right on the farm, and a full lineup of meats. Their animals are humanely raised with no growth hormones, and the farm partners with neighbors for specialty meats like lamb, rabbit, duck, and veal.
Our tip: Pick up a wedge of their farmstead cheese while you’re there. Their Toma has earned a following well beyond the Upper Valley.
