Brookby Farm in Dover Plains has been in the Vincent family for six generations, going back to the early 1800s. The family opened their farm store in 2016, and their cows are raised without hormones or antibiotics.
Raw milk is bottled fresh every morning. New York allows raw milk to be sold only on the farm where it’s produced, and only by farms holding a state raw milk permit. Permitted farms are inspected and have their milk sampled and tested by the state, and they post a sign letting customers know the milk is unpasteurized.
Our tip: Their pork is raised on the farm’s own milk. Add some to your order for a true farm to table meal.
