Brothers Sports Bar and Grille is a hometown sports bar in Dracut that does something most sports bars don’t: they cook their fries in beef tallow. It’s a small change that makes a big difference if you’re trying to avoid seed oils while still enjoying a night out watching the game.

The burgers are a highlight. Each one is an 8 oz blend of chuck, brisket, and short rib from Savenor’s, a well known Boston area butcher, served on a brioche roll with those tallow fries. The rest of the menu covers pizza, calzones, wings, subs, and fresh seafood.

Our tip: Stick with the burger and tallow fries, or the fresh haddock. Ask your server about the oils used for other fried items, since menus and suppliers can change.
