Hidden Camp Farm in Canajoharie, in the Mohawk Valley, raises a herd of about 100 grass-fed Jersey cows. Their own raw milk is available for pickup on the farm only.
New York allows raw milk to be sold only on the farm where it’s produced, and only by farms holding a state raw milk permit. Permitted farms are inspected and have their milk sampled and tested by the state, and they post a sign letting customers know the milk is unpasteurized. Note that the bottled A2 milk the farm also carries from a partner dairy is pasteurized, so ask specifically for their own raw milk.
Our tip: Check their website for pickup details, and try the A2/A2 raw milk cheeses.
