LanaRosa Dairy is a small Jersey dairy in Leicester, in Livingston County south of Rochester. The herd is grass-fed and A2/A2, and the farm began offering raw milk in 2021.
LanaRosa is listed with the Raw Milk Institute, which means they follow a written food safety plan and test their milk regularly. New York allows raw milk to be sold only on the farm where it’s produced, and only by farms holding a state raw milk permit. Permitted farms are inspected and have their milk sampled and tested by the state, and they post a sign letting customers know the milk is unpasteurized.
