Lone Oak Farm is a family dairy in Genoa, in the rolling farm country east of Cayuga Lake, run by Mark and Victoria Stauderman. Their Jersey herd is 100% grass-fed and A2, and the family raises the cows without hormones, antibiotics, or pesticides on the pasture.
New York allows raw milk to be sold only on the farm where it’s produced, and only by farms holding a state raw milk permit. Permitted farms are inspected and have their milk sampled and tested by the state, and they post a sign letting customers know the milk is unpasteurized.
