Raw milk from their own cows
Miller’s Dairy Farm is a family dairy in Pine Island, in the black dirt farm country of Orange County, run by Thomas Miller. The family sells raw milk straight from their own herd.
New York allows raw milk to be sold only on the farm where it’s produced, and only by farms holding a state raw milk permit. Permitted farms are inspected and have their milk sampled and tested by the state, and they post a sign letting customers know the milk is unpasteurized.
Our tip: Call ahead to check hours. While you’re in the area, the black dirt farms nearby are great for fresh vegetables.
