Pearl’s Stony Creek Farm is a small Jersey dairy in Warwick, in southern Orange County. Raw milk and eggs are sold from a sales hut right on the farm, in glass jars or your own containers.
New York allows raw milk to be sold only on the farm where it’s produced, and only by farms holding a state raw milk permit. Permitted farms are inspected and have their milk sampled and tested by the state, and they post a sign letting customers know the milk is unpasteurized.
Our tip: Bring your own clean jars to save on deposits, and call ahead to check availability.
