Red Hook Creamery operates at Hill-n-Hollow Farm, a family owned farm on Route 199 in Red Hook, in northern Dutchess County. The farm’s on site market sells their raw milk, including A2, along with cheese, eggs, and a full lineup of meats.
New York allows raw milk to be sold only on the farm where it’s produced, and only by farms holding a state raw milk permit. Permitted farms are inspected and have their milk sampled and tested by the state, and they post a sign letting customers know the milk is unpasteurized.
Our tip: The market is open every day, so it’s an easy stop on the way to or from the Kingston Rhinecliff Bridge.
