Description
Maldon is the salt chefs keep on the counter for finishing. It comes from England and has large, pyramid shaped flakes that give a clean, bright crunch on top of food.
It’s pure sea salt with no additives or anti caking agents, and a little goes a long way. This box is 8.5 oz.
How we use it: A pinch on top of a sliced steak right before serving. It also takes fresh fruit and even chocolate to another level.
Good to know: Maldon is a finishing salt, not a cooking salt. Use a regular salt like Diamond Crystal while cooking, and save Maldon for the end.
