If you’re replacing seed oils in your kitchen, beef tallow is where to start. Lineage Provisions renders theirs low and slow from 100% grass-fed, grass-finished cattle, and packs it in glass jars.
Tallow is naturally low in linoleic acid and very stable at high heat, so it won’t break down when searing or frying. This order is a pack of three jars.
How we use it: It’s our main cooking fat for almost everything, from eggs in the morning to crispy potatoes at dinner.
Good to know: Tallow is solid at room temperature, similar to coconut oil. It also works as a base for homemade candles, soap, and skin balm.
