Pure Southern Honey – Raw Unfiltered Honey, 1 lb Glass Jar

Description

Pure Southern Honey is raw, unfiltered and unheated, and it’s hand-bottled by a family business in South Georgia. The only ingredient is honey, and it comes in a 1 lb glass jar.

It comes mostly from gallberry blossoms, with some tupelo, blackgum and palmetto, so it has a mild, rich flavor that goes with almost anything.

How we use it: A spoonful in our Homemade Fruit Gummies when the fruit is on the tart side, or drizzled over raw cheese and fresh fruit.

Good to know: Raw honey can crystallize over time, which is normal. Set the jar in a bowl of warm water to soften it. Like all honey, it isn’t for babies under 12 months.
